Tui Blond Pocket Voucher Campaign runner up in Global Mobile Marketing Awards

Federation Media Blog A Tui, FM, and POCKETvoucher (PV) built campaign has won runner up in the 2010 Global Mobile Marketing Awards announced on 17th November (see all of the winners, with case studies, here - http://mobithinking.com/mobile-awards/mma-global-awards-2010).

FM's role in the campaign was multi-faceted - website build, PV API integration (serving 1000's of POCKETvouchers an hour), email and social media marketing and Facebook application build and promotion, we also ran a Facebook advertising campaign.

Federation Media also built an innovative Facebook application to support the campaign.  The application, built in .NET using the Facebook Toolkit for .NET, allowed users to get a POCKETvoucher for 2 free beers and then go on the invite their Facebook friends to a participating bar near them.  Their friends would receive Facebook notifications and then their friends could accept their invitation and get their own PV, and so on and so forth.

All in all the campaign was a huge success and became one of the most successful new product launches ever at DB Breweries.
